When we were in Stillwater I had Erik drive down Main street while I snapped photos as fast as I could. The following are a result.
If you are from Stillwater, there is a slim chance you might enjoy these pics- if not, well then I'm sorry :)

I bought this earrings (these*- I speak English) in Valparaiso, Chile from a hippie dude with long, shiny black hair.
He made them out of tree seeds.
While I was there I lived in a 3-story house perched up on a hill. Every weeknight on my way home I'd buy an ice cream, trek 50+ stairs and climb out on the roof where I ate strawberry sprinkles on a stick and dangled my feet over the cars and buses 3 stories below me.
One night I sat above the city lights and you know what?
the entire building started to shake.
There was an earthquake while I sat with my legs hanging off the roof!
I held tight until it was over
but my ice cream was not so lucky.
It dropped thirty feet until it hit the hard, cold pavement.
splat.

Have you seen those movie theatres that cost a bagillion bucks?
The ones where you go watch an average movie on an average movie theatre screen but you get to sit in a plush, cushy chair that electronicaly reclines? Where there are only a handful of others in the theatre? And you get a blanket and pillow, full menu, and complimentary drinks? A waitor call-button?
Tonight I went with my mother (her treat, of course).
Let me tell you-she has earned it. I certainly have not.
It was silly.
Outlandish.
Completely ridiculous.
and
fabulous.
thanks mom!
