Free Downloadable Daily Chart

Fall is here! Most kids in the PNW went back to school today. Know how I could tell? Besides getting stuck behind a freaking bus on my way to work, it was the mom invasion that gave it away. Mommy-types just kept appearing out of nowhere today: motioning me to slow down while driving through the neighborhood, shaking their butts with me in Zumba. It was awesome to see that spark in their eyes like "Kids are back in school!!! YEAH!" :)

Ok so anyways. Fall.
Fall to me is about getting organized and back into a rythym.

This simple chart has helped me so much with that. I print off several sheets and keep them in a binder. Filling it out is so quick and easy. Its fun once you've been doing it for awhile to go back and read through them too.

Ok. I realize that it might be a little weird to add such simple things as brushing your teeth to a daily list, but quite frankly I could use the reminder to floss and take my vitamins. Plus it is awesome to look back and recognize the things you did right that day that you might have overlooked otherwise.

Sometimes we make progress that we don't even see because the change has been gradual. Celebrate the small victories!!

Don't focus only on where you need to be,
Focus also on how far you've already come.

Looking back at pictures from this time last year really shocked me. I'm not at my ideal weight, but I have become so much fitter without dieting or anything. I didn't realize the difference until I went back and looked, and I believe a lot of my success has come from making tiny changes to my habits.

And.....maybe the most important part of the chart:
gratefulness, gratefulness, gratefulness.
There is nothing in life we haven't been given and in my opinion, being grateful is the secret to happiness.

(side note: you may not want to record your weight everyday if you think it might become a problem. I like to because it keeps me accountable and aware, but do whatever's right for you. duh!)
