There is no symbolism here...

Erik's family is one of the closest, most loving families I know. But last night their family photo fell off the shelf and onto the piano and this morning we woke up to broken glass (at least it wasn't our car this time! Haha).

What I'm trying to figure out is why the crashing sound didn't wake us up...

Oh well. The mess is cleaned up and the family is back in business :)

And remember that picture frame we got at Ross yesterday? Here it is now.

I'm convinced: it really is a small world after all.

Kelsea and I couldn't believe our eyes while we were shopping at Ross today. We started looking for picture frames when Kelsea picked one up and in disbelief said, "Jamie. That's Tyler."

Here we were in Seattle looking at a picture of someone we grew up with in Oklahoma! Someone we haven't seen in 10+ years. I'm pretty sure the last time I saw him was Vacation Bible School.


The more we looked around, the more we saw them! It was totally random.


Even though it was obviously him and his wife, I didn't believe it until we pulled up the same exact picture on his Facebook.

Aren't they cute! :)
