I cry and Erik buys me flowers.
I do. I cry. I like to be really tough for a month or two and then let it all out for on hour and a half (usually on a Sunday afternoon). After that I feel much better.
WAAHHH!!! I HAVE NO FRIENDS!!!! I HAVE NO LIFE. ALL I DO IS WORK!!!!! I'M FAT!!!!!
I THINK I HAVE A CAVITY!!!! WAAAHAHAHA
All very important and serious matters as you can see.
Erik just listens. Sometimes I catch him holding in laughter.
Then we go out to eat and order a bloomin onion and coconut shrimp for dinner. Even though it is 372364872364 points and I have 29 to use for the day.
And you can't stop me. And you can't make me eat my veggies.
Because I am a full-grown woman.
A full-grown woman with a little girl still inside her soul- with dreams and wishes, fears and doubts, faith and hope.
(and mad love for her "partner-in-crime" shoulder to cry on.)

here's a little known fact:jamie doesn't open biscuit containers.
because jamie is afraid (ok. maybe irrationally) that the biscuit container is going to pop open and bust her in the mouth or take out an eye.

A high school friend of Erik's posted this video on Facebook yesterday. Apparently it is only a test, but I think it is so much more! The film is bright and serene and really well-done.
It made me so feel happy and nostalgic (which may or may not have something to do with the fact that I met my husband in marching band at age 14 :)
Seriously though, remember those days when the bell rang at 2:40 and the only thing you had planned for the evening was to walk home and pop a pop-tart in the toaster?
Remember how you would whine and tell your parents you couldn't wait until the day you turned 18 so you could be out on your own and they would say, "Just wait. One day you'll wish you were this age again." And you thought they were totally crazy for saying something so ridiculous because all you could think about was growing up? And driving a car? And having your own house with a pool and a giant television?
And wearing lipstick?
