today i took it old school and chose Cam'ron "Hey Ma"

I love this song but had never seen the video

very pleasant surprise at 1:36
not even so much that he is dancing on one leg as it is the facial expressions.
and the way they remixed the music.
throw that crutch on the ground!

as a side note i am facebook "friends" with some random dude from Oklahoma that recently injured himself in a bar fight. he finds new unique ways to spell crutches everyday in his status updates:

"My doc said that they don't make a beer holder for my crouchs so I have a job to do"

"My doc said that I can start walking in tow weeks without my crushes"


and my very favorite...

"Dame if u want to look like a ass full on ur ass win u go to qt on crotchets and dame the pane will suck!!!!!!"

translation: Damn, if you want to look like an ass, fall on your ass when you go to QuikTrip on crutches and damn, the pain will suck."

currently gathering pictures for a giant commissioned piece... ok fine its a huge collage for my mom's house ;) still so much fun to work on! so many decisions to make...color, b&w, theme? there are about 30 slots ranging from 3x5 to 16x20? we probably won't end up using any of these. thinking about a little weekend getaway/photo shoot? p.s. did you find erik in the pics above? he's hiding out in one of them :)

I wish we'd gone to Oklahoma under happier circumstances, but it was still wonderful to spend time with Erik's family.
