Erik is making dinner tonight (Its a surprise- and he will NOT let me in the kitchen) so I've been browsing Valentine's on Etsy while I wait.

Cinnamon Roll w/cream cheese frangelico icing
Eggs Benedict with crab and Hollandaise

Then we went out to watch our friend Chad play in his Special Olympics basketball game. Talk about heart-these kids don't give up. Learn more about volunteering here.

I can't get enough of Brandi Carlisle lately.
I know I've been talking a lot lately about how I'm getting tired of female singers that over-pronounce words and sing little cutesy ballads blablabla...but there's some kind of strength in her voice that convinces me look past all of that.

That- and she reminds me of Ellis (whose voice I adore).
