The news of the Chilean earthquake is breaking my heart. I'm still waiting to hear back from friends I made while living in Vina del Mar. This was possibly one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded- 100x the power of the quake that hit Haiti in January. (Luckily, their infrastructure was prepared for an earthquake and the epicenter was off-shore.) I can't even fathom the panic they felt as the earthquake struck at 3:30 am local time. Keep this beautiful nation in your prayers.
