Just got back from OK. Doing loads and loads of laundry.
We had an AMAZING time. I have the best in-laws. They are so great. Invited a huge crew of our college friends to come see us at the house (and bring their kids). The house looked like a preschool for a couple hours. Carol went up in the attic and pulled out a few of Erik's old toys. It was wonderful. There was so much love.
In other news, Keith competed at the Tulsa BBQ Challenge on Saturday and made some pulled pork that would knock your socks off. It was sooo good. He spent the entire night before cooking with his team. He even made the local news!
"St. Francis-type deal. The proceeds are going to it and once I heard that, a friend of mine was like - hey dude! Let's go! And we've never actually cooked here before, but we figured it's a good cause; we can do it," says Keith Reed of the Cherry Street Smokers.
